The Coherence Economy Series, Paper 3

The Six Domains

Defines each Domain of Human Coherence and establishes its measurement foundations in validated instruments.

Where the second paper develops the structural layer, this paper develops the outcome layer. It defines each of the six Domains across which a coherent human being must function, biological, cognitive, psychological, relational, financial, and cosmological, and establishes measurement foundations for each by grounding them in existing validated instruments, drawing on the work of Ryff, Marmot, Holt-Lunstad, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, and Steger.

The purpose of the grounding is falsifiability. A framework claiming to produce human coherence must specify what coherence is and how anyone would know whether it had been achieved. The paper positions itself explicitly as the accessible companion to the WP03 working paper co-authored with Dr. Edward Brown, which carries the full empirical anchors and validation agenda.
